Item Details
Description
This very unusual and large piece was likely made around the 1930s in the Middle-East and features a beautiful scalloped filigree fine silver base adorned with Turquoise cabochons and a more than 2,000 years old ancient Egyptian faience scarab at the center. The piece can be worn as either a pendant or a brooch. Very good antique condition with some patina according to age and minor wear to the scarab (which used to be a pendant itself in ancient Egypt). No missing stones. Measures approx. 2 1/16" in diameter and weighs ca. 16.8 grams. Marked "1000" for pure fine silver.
