Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng red carp bowl on stand. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a straight opening lip, raised on a small round, slightly raised concave footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the red fine color. The Exterior adorned with swim carp on ruby red color. The Carp Similar sounding to the word "Business" in Chinese, the carp symbolizes a wish for benefit or advantage in business, and accepted to represent longevity, wealth, abundance, and perseverance. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. Elegantly and smooth presented upon a carved hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
