American Colonial era 18+k gold necklace, crafted by Elias Pelletreau, showcased in both the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Brooklyn Museum. Accompanied by extensive documentation and historical details from Captain Mortimer Howell and his spouse Gertrude Howell, direct descendants of Augustine Cobb, including provenance via family history noting books written about Pelletreau and who his customers were.

Beyond his artistic legacy, Pelletreau was a dedicated patriot, serving as a captain in the Suffolk County militia during the Revolutionary War.
