Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Douqing Dragon Carved Porcelain Celestial Vase. Potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, cylindrical neck, close mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base slight concave. All reserved in pale-turquoise- pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Sgraffito with imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface.The Under base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
