[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Half plate daguerreotype of an equestrian painting.
Half plate daguerreotype of a likely English painting featuring three horses lined up in a stable. Two of the horses wear blankets and stand on hay in their stalls. A cloth, which could be the uncovered horse's blanket, is draped on an object in the lower left corner. (Tarnishing around edges, few spots, some light weeping ; resealed.) Housed in a leatherette case (upper edge of image housing partially separated, surface wear).
