Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Jamacoaque, ca. 1st to 5th century CE. A dramatic pottery figure of a warrior elaborately adorned with a spiked collar and horned helmet as he lunges forth on one knee, hurtling forward a pointed club, all hand-painted in vibrant hues of orange, red, and green. Size: 5.7" L x 4" W x 6" H (14.5 cm x 10.2 cm x 15.2 cm)
