Description
Ancient Central Europe, Danube River Basin, Hallstatt culture, Late Bronze Age, ca. 1400 to 1100 BCE. An incredibly well-preserved copper axe head of minimalist form with a thick, sturdy body and a gently flared blade edge with lateral points. The surfaces exhibit an amazing luster as well. Size: 4.25" L x 0.6" W x 1.625" H (10.8 cm x 1.5 cm x 4.1 cm); 4.8" H (12.2 cm) on included custom stand.
