Condition: Good Repaired: The movement has been fully cleaned and overhauled in our workshop. Wear consistent with age and use. Excellent condition with no major dents or damages. Well-defined engravings and crisp white dial. The hands are original and have a rich blued colour.

A substantial 9 carat solid gold half hunter pocket watch by Marvin Watch Company, Switzerland. Fully hallmarked Birmingham, 1912.

With a gold winding crown and bow to the top, the outer engraved Roman dial on the case front with central glass and sprung release reveals the crisp white enamel Roman dial.

The dial has subsidiary seconds and original blued steel hands, the rear of the case hinge opening to reveal a gold cuvette cover adding additional protection to the fine nickel-plated movement.

The movement is fully jewelled with Swiss lever escapement. It is of a higher grade than the standard movement, having a Breguet overcoil to the balance spring, bimetallic balance and being adjusted for 3 positional errors. The detail to the regulator arm is particularly pleasing and the ratchet wheel twice signed by the maker ?Marvin?.
