A mid to late 19th century 18ct gold garnet locket pendant, with enamel snake surround. French assay marks. Length 4.4cms. 15.5gms.
Condition
Surface scratches and minor marks. General dirt.Enamel snake shows slight colour inconsistancy in the enamel, with small chips around the neck and tip of the tail.Locket is glazed to both sides, with a hinged foil back garnet cover and hinged inner glass cover.Please note if a lot is shown with a chain but the chain is not mentioned in the text then the chain is not sold with the lot.
