Japanese, Meiji Period (1868-1912), the kneeling figure of a rat catcher shown with an anguished expression, with a rat climbing atop his back and while holding a box overtop a rat, signed in characters on the underside. Measuring 3" high. This lot can not be shipped outside of Canada, Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species apply.
