Description
First Nations, Pacific Northwest Coast, United States or Canada, Haida or Tlingit, ca. 20th century CE. A forged-copper knife or ceremonial form with a bifurcated, rabbit-ear pommel end, tightly-braided wicker wrapped around the handle, and a petaloid blade with a totem animal - perhaps from a specific clan - incised across the convex face. Size: 13.6" L x 1.8" W x 0.5" H (34.5 cm x 4.6 cm x 1.3 cm)
