Quebec, Lower Canada. 19th C Unidentified maker, double stuff with crown and R. The rectangular box with engraved top possibly covering a name or initials, and name of MadameGroulx, hinged lid and gilded interior. Condition
original owners name has been over engraved with a floral decoration and Madame Groulx below. There are other Quebec snuff boxes know that were the property of a lady. Box contains some hand written family notes
