NETHERLANDS 1956 Silver V.O.C. Trading Ship Model

.835 Silver 1179 gms.including wood base and plaque. Styled after a V.O.C. 1750's trading ship Batavia, this creation was given to Mrs. M. Eakin on December 1, 1956 for the launch in Arnhem, Netherlands of the M.V. Fair Head. The model is decked out with flags and hearaldry of the Dutch trading company. Hall marks are located on the rear of the keel on the right side.
