06.03.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 4167: I note that the screen is presently intact and structurally secure, with the fabric lining the verso of each panel having fraying near edges but remaining securely bound, the painted scenes display light discoloration/ staining and minor spotting, examination under UV light reveals varying degrees of inpainting throughout, particularly within the panel on the right hand side, and there are minor paint chips along the edges of each panel commensurate with the folding of the screen/ use, additionally there is a carved wood trim at the lower edge of the lined verso which exhibits chipping and loss
