Saint Paul cures the lame man.
Artist: after G. Freman (1688-1690 (fl.))
Engraver: Johannes "Jan" Kip (1652/53, Amsterdam – 1722, Westminster)
Publisher: Richard Blome, 1635-1705 (?).
Production date: 1688.
Provenance: The History of the Old and the New Testament. Each plate depicts a scene of the Bible, with title below image; most of the plates have two putti above the image holding a fringed sheet with royal coat of arms and a dedication.
Size: 25,6x39,5 cms.
Condition: Good condition given age.
G. Freman (1688-1690 (fl.)) Designer of a number of plates in a Bible published by Richard Blome in 1688-90. His first name is not known, and in the book his name is invariably written as 'G.Freman'.
