Vintage Sterling Navajo Double Hoop Earrings, Mike Platero, 2.75", 1960's-1970's. Clip Earrings. Navajo jewelry artist since the 1960's with his wife Evelyn. This is a clip earrings with two oval open hoop drops that are stamped on the frames and slightly domed. The earrings are 2.75" long from top to bottom and slightly over 1" wide at center. They are marked sterling and test as sterling with a weight of 11.67 gr. They are signed Mike Platero. Very good condition. Their pieces do bring higher prices than the mass produced sterling pieces you see - most earrings I saw were $100 plus into the multi hundreds. (W31123.1X1 SS10087 J LD 3/29/23).
