Will Kight (NC, 1897-1977), Widgeon

Moyock, North Carolina, circa 1940, carved and painted wood, rig cordage and iron weight.
Length 15.75 in.
One of the finest duck decoys by Will Kight known. Most of his wooded decoys were made of balsa. This widgeon is carved from all juniper and exhibits his finest paint.
