The bust executed by Henry Dexter (American). Signed "Original / of/ Agassiz/ Made To The Order Of/ Hon. Nathaniel Thayer / By / Henry Dexter Sculptor/ 1867". Nathaniel Thayer is likely the American financier and philanthropist. From a Rockland County, NY collection. - Dimensions: 24" h x 21" w x 16" d.
