The Betar Movement (Hebrew: ????? ???"?), also spelled Beitar (???"?), is a Revisionist Zionist youth movement founded in 1923 in Riga, Latvia, by Vladimir (Ze'ev) Jabotinsky.[1] It was one of several right-wing youth movements that arose at that time and adopted special salutes and uniforms.
Vladimir Ze'ev Jabotinsky (en russe : ???????? ?????????? ???????????, Vladimir Ievguéniévitch Jabotinski ; en hébreu : ????? ?????????????????, Ze'ev Žabotinski), né le 18 octobre 1880 (30 octobre dans le calendrier grégorien) à Odessa, dans le gouvernement de Kherson de l'Empire russe (aujourd'hui en Ukraine) et mort le 4 août 1940, à Hunter, village de l'État de New York aux États-Unis, est le fondateur de la Légion juive durant la Première Guerre mondiale et un leader de l'aile droite du mouvement sioniste.

It lies on the shore of E?k Lake, which was formed by a glacier, and is surrounded by extensive forests. It is the largest city and unofficial capital of historical Masuria. One of the principal attractions in the area is legal hunting.
