Meir Aron Goldschmidt (October 26, 1819 – August 15, 1887) was a Danish publisher, journalist and novelist. He was the founding editor of the satirical and political magazine Corsaren
Benjamin “Benno” Wulfsohn (born December 21, 1882 in Mitau; † October 29, 1937 in MinZhu, Shanghai was a German painter and graphic artist. Wulfsohn grew up in Vienna as the son of a Jewish fur trading family. He attended the academies in Berlin and Munich. He spent most of his creative years in Berlin. In addition to his main activity as a painter, he also worked as an illustrator for books and magazines. His creative repertoire ranged from oil paintings to watercolors and drawings to prints.

He was a student of Max Liebermann, belonged to the Berlin Artists' Association and the Berlin Secession Artists' Association and, among other things, exhibited in this context. In the 1920s, Benno Wulfsohn worked, among other things, as an advertising poster painter for well-known American companies. He emigrated in the early 1930s, first to the USA and later to China. There he lived first in Beijing, then in Shanghai, where he died of cholera and yellow fever in 1937.
