Kutani ware is a traditional style of Japanese porcelain, having originated in the Kutani region of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Dating back to the 17th century, Kutani ware is known for its intricate designs, vibrant colors, and exquisite craftsmanship. The Chrysanthemum and Bush Clover design was born during the Showa era (1926-1989) and speaks volumes to the talent and creativity exhibited by its maker. In very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The large bowl measures approx. 6" in diameter x 2 1/2" high, the small bowl measures approx. 4 1/2" in diameter x 2" high. Gorgeous pieces.
