514 十八世紀 白玉螭龍紋花觚

觚以整塊白玉雕琢而成，玉質潔白凝光，溫醇潤 澤。口、足呈菱花形，敞口，長頸，高足外撇，花 口與足部遙相對應，弧度勻稱，形成仰覆蓮瓣紋， 線條勾勒纖秀，挺拔優雅。中部鼓腹浮雕四條對稱 且各具形態的蟠螭，龍體幾近S形，細腰，臀肩豐 滿，長尾上捲，生動活現，具複刻擬古風格。上海 博物館庋藏清乾隆〈三螭紋玉花觚〉，造 型及紋飾皆與本品極為相似，可作為清代宮廷仿古 形制之風格比對。

觚本為青銅酒器，始於商，盛於周，其上、下身 皆呈喇叭形往外擴張，器身中間稍微凸出，有時 配以扉棱或紋飾，為祭奠用酒杯，後成為皇室祭 天奉祖重要禮器。明清時期以玉仿摹而製，用作花 器。本器為追擬商周青銅器形而略有增減變化， 其複刻原型可參閱，《欽定四庫全書－西清古鑑、 卷二十五》周〈饕餮觚一〉。全器敦實莊 重，線條曲折有致，雕琢工藝精湛，融合仿古與創 新，造型穩重之餘，亦充滿動感，顯示出皇家雍容 華貴之感，為十八世紀同類玉器典範。

有清一代，紫禁城內設立造辦處，從全國挑 選優秀工匠專門為宮廷製作各種器用，其 中琢玉工匠多來自江南，又稱「南玉匠」。 而清代江南玉雕中最著名的當數蘇州玉雕和 揚州玉雕，史稱「蘇作」和「揚州工」。以 乾隆時期為例，南玉匠主要由蘇州織造揀 選輸送，乾隆御製詩中也經常出現「蘇州玉 工」、「吳閭玉工」、「吳中玉匠」等字 樣。玉匠精湛之工藝，促成清代玉雕邁向繁 榮昌盛。

本件花觚造型挺拔雅靜，驟看簡單，卻見 十八世紀玉匠卓越巧藝。拍場相似之例可 見拍賣於香港蘇富比2019年10月8日，編 號121，清乾隆〈白玉菱花式花觚〉（圖 三），皆取白玉雕琢為花觚造型，可資比 對。本件十八世紀〈白玉螭龍紋花觚〉，乃 復古青銅觚之佳例，線條優美，風格精細雅 潔，從上方俯瞰，宛如盛開花朵，含蓄靜 穆，頗富匠心，以之與古人插花逸趣結合， 更具巧思。
