尊佛以銅精煉鑄就，材質堅密沉重，鎏金厚實，熠熠生輝。頭戴五葉寶冠，螺髮飾靛 藍，排列規整，塔形肉髻高隆，寶珠頂嚴。寬額豐頤，雙耳垂輪式耳璫，眉如初月， 點丹白毫，眼瞼低垂，嫻靜祥和，似俯視眾生，端莊而肅穆。上身袒露，寬肩細腰， 身材比例勻稱，胸飾瓔珞，臂及踝處飾有釧環。肩披帛帶，下裙褶紋起伏如波浪狀， 轉折流暢自然。結全跏趺坐，右手下垂自然彎曲膝前，掌心向內結降魔觸地印，左手 平伸結禪定印，禪定坐於蓮花座，賦以端莊之感。蓮座為寬大仰覆蓮形式，上下飾有 兩道連珠，束腰內收，蓮瓣飽滿修長，瓣端尖角，微微上翹，極有力度。蓮座下固封 裝藏保存完好，底蓋中央刻有精美十字金剛杵紋飾。北京故宮博物院庋藏明永樂〈銅 鎏金寶生佛坐像〉，作與願印，其造像風格與本尊像極為相似，可作為比對參 考。然本尊像戴五葉寶冠，作觸地印，是為精美之明代阿閦佛造像佳例。

阿閦佛，起源可追溯到初期大乘佛教經典，後併入密宗金剛界五智如來（五方佛） 中，位居東方妙喜國土，代表大圓鏡智，為金剛族諸神之主尊，大多數金剛忿怒尊 神（本尊或護法）均被以為是此尊的化現，其典型圖像學特徵為右手觸地印，左手 禪定印，全跏趺坐像。另四位分別是中央的毗盧遮那佛（俗稱「大日如來」）作智 拳印、西方阿彌陀佛作禪定印、南方寶生佛作與願印、北方不空成就佛作無畏印。 明代推崇藏傳佛教，吸取元代獨崇藏傳佛教薩迦派的教訓，採取「眾封多建」的民 族宗教政策，藏式風格金銅佛像藝術逐漸成為主體，並於漢藏交流下日趨成熟，得 到廣泛且完美的融合。本尊阿閦佛造型敦實，比例勻稱，體態優美大方，富有寫實 性和生命力，可謂明代漢藏風格之精品。
