壺紫砂質，泥胎細密堅致，砂色純正溫潤。呈筒式，直流，曲柄寬大，淺圈足。蓋 陷於壺內與壺身平齊，內鈐「鼎裕」二字楷書橢圓印款。鈕半圓形，上飾兩個可活動 之繩紋圓環。壺身刻「洞天一品元章石，明月三人太白杯」，落款「二泉」，辭句雋 永，字體頓挫有據，猶聞墨香。上聯典出北宋書畫家米芾，洞天一品指太湖石，米 芾字「元章」，嗜太湖奇石，常拜石為友，傳有「元章拜石」之語；下聯典出李白「舉 杯邀明月，對影成三人」句。壺底落「鼎裕監製」方印款，字體工整挺拔，雕琢精 細。整體造型穩定感強，氣勢不凡。北京故宮博物院庋藏清嘉慶〈紫砂詩句筒式壺〉 ，造型設計與本品相似，可資參考。

「鼎裕」為清末紫砂陶器店號「豫豐」早期所用印款，為吳頤山嫡傳後裔，世居蜀山 南街的吳同構其父吳啟南於清宣統二年（1910 年）所開設；清中期紫砂名家邵友蘭， 生於清乾隆末年，道光年間曾為清宮製作過貢品，與「符生鄧奎」、「邵二泉」等名家 同期，常用印款有：「陽羨邵友蘭製」、「友蘭」、「真記」等，銘刻一般署「二泉」。
