羅漢以壽山石精琢而成，黃如板栗之色，晶瑩凝潤。袖口仍見些許綠痕，可知原應有上彩。尊者席地而坐，高廣壽額，長耳垂肩，濃眉舒展彎曲，雙眼俯視，虯髯留腮，雙唇輕啟微帶笑意。雙手捧佛祖說法像，是為「成就因緣尊者」。羅漢身著交領袈裟，左肩帔帛繫環，衣袍雙肩、膝各飾團花番蓮紋。交領及袖口陰刻斜線紋為飾，嵌米粒般紅寶、珊瑚、珍珠及綠松石。下裳垂至足面，露出一足，盤膝坐於白雲座上，賦以尊貴端莊之感。背部陽刻行書「尚均作」款，蒼勁有力，古樸卓然。中國國家博物館庋藏清周彬〈壽山石雕羅漢像〉，羅漢衣物上飾有團花番蓮紋和衣領、袖口和衣緣處鑲嵌青金石、綠松石和珊瑚，與本作形制相似，可作比對參考。唯本尊者右肩帔帛繫環，足蹬官履，坐於鋪著錦蓆的白雲台座上，雲座以潔淨純白壽山石雕製，雲海流動自然，祥瑞之氣增添尊貴氣息，略勝一籌。

周彬，字尚均，清代漳洲人，為著名壽山石雕刻家，傳康熙間曾招為御工，供奉內廷，擅長人物雕刻，尤精印鈕製作，與楊玉璇齊名，能以誇張手法強化形象，卻能微妙入神。龔禮逸《壽山石譜》：「周尚均，名彬??其所制石，舊家多有之，顯楊之制精工，而周所做樸茂」、鄭傑《閩中錄》：「余素有石癖，積三十年，大小得五百餘枚，皆吾閩先輩所遺留，鈕多出之楊玉璿、周尚均二家所制。」又方宗珪在《壽山石志》中言，周彬「向為藝界所器重」。周尚均之作，除見有印章，還有一系列羅漢雕像，皆尺寸較小，多坐於精工細刻的墊枕或石上，且僅部分存世。其作品可見於中國國家博物館庋藏清周彬〈壽山石雕羅漢像〉、北京故宮博物院庋藏清〈田黃石彌勒佛像〉及本品皆神形並茂，在選材、構思及雕工皆極見製者功力。

「成就因緣尊者」為五百羅漢第六十九尊，當即超度因緣如來。據《正法華經》載，曾有十六國的王太子，供養無數僧眾，為世俗大眾作出無盡善業??後十六太子都獲佛果，分別住於世界八方，其中尊者居於東方，為眾說法，救護世間，成就諸善因緣。本件壽山石以「成就因緣尊者」為主題之造像，形神俱足，刀法嫻熟精湛，集圓雕、暗刻、鑲嵌工藝於一身，陰刻細線施以描金點綴，絢麗華美，顯露皇家尊貴和高尚地位，為羅漢造像少見之精品。

DEPOSIT

To ensure a smooth auction and protect the interest of buyers, all buyers bidding in person, via telephone, written or online bids, must complete the registration at least one day before the auction date and put down a deposit of TWD 200,000 (USD 6,500, HKD 50,000, or RMB 45,000) For certain sales where specified, a deposit of TWD 500,000 (USD 15,000, HKD 120,000, or RMB 110,000) is required. Buyers who wish to bid on Premium Lots marked with ? in the catalogue must put down a deposit of TWD 2,000,000 (USD 65,000, HKD 500,000, or RMB 450,000.) If paying by check please allow at least three days for check to clear. Online bidding is not available for Premium Lots.

Yu Jen reserves the right to increase the amount of deposit required. Yu Jen Imperial Seal Cardholders are not required to pay the deposit (except for the Specified Sales or Premium Lots marked with ? symbol.)
