A mid-Victorian silver jug, of bellied form with scrolled and cross-hatched borders above alternating acanthus leaf band to central body. Hallmarked Edward Pairpoint, London 1859. Height 13cm, weight 9.4ozt (293.4g)

Condition Report:

Item is in fair condition, showing some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
Definition to engraving is very rubbed and lost to areas all over.
Widest, lower area is quite bumpy and textured, with some deeper bashes.
Gauge is thick.
Silver is bright and shiny.
Some bashes and deep nicks and dints to handle.
Hallmarks are clear and legible.
Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
