A Russian silver and enamel kovsh, the circular form with flattened shaped handle, decorated all over with foliate scrolls and patterns in polychrome cloisonné enamel, within beaded turquoise borders, and raised on a spread circular foot. Marked to base for Moscow, 84 standard, with Assay Master mark dated 1892. Maximum length including handle 16cm, gross weight 6.95ozt (216.2g).

• Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
• A couple of slight knocks around the main rim and foot rim.
• A few minor surface dints, seen more to interior.
• Some minor losses to enamel, however all the colours still appear bright.
• Textured areas around the enamel appear quite tarnished or dirty and also with residues of old polish.
• Assay marks located to base, these rubbed but legible; there is a further partly obscured mark, possibly a maker's mark.
