Description
An Edwardian silver pedestal bowl, on matched, filled plinth, each having central band of raised, circular bosses. Hallmarked Jay, Richard Attenborough Co Ltd, Chester 1908 and James Dixon & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1906. Overall height 12cm, weight of bowl 4.1ozt (127.7g).
Condition Report:- Items are in fair condition, showing some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Rim of bowl is slightly misshapen.
- There is a deep scratch above one boss, and a notable repair surrounding another, to bowl.
- Gauge is quite malleable to upper bowl.
- Bowl fits well onto plinth.
- Rim to plinth base is bashed and dinted to areas.
- Bowl wobbles slightly to plinth.
