Description

A William IV silver cream or milk pedestal jug, the flared neck above floral embossed vase shape body, with foliate detailed scroll handle. Hallmarked Robert Hennell II, London 1831. Maximum height 15cm, weight 9.26ozt (288g).  

Condition Report:

  • Appears very dirty and tarnished all over, including to the interior, and in need of a clean.
  • With some general surface wear, marks and scratches, and some minor dints and nicks.
  • Surface wear and rubbing to areas of the raised decoration, causing some loss of detail or definition.
  • Some visible seam lines.
  • Possible repairs around join of foot.
  • Hallmarks rubbed but still legible.
