An Edwardian silver vesta case, of typical form, engraved with foliate scrolls and vacant shield cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1902, plus another similarly decorated example, hallmarked Birmingham 1914; together with three plain silver vestas, comprising a late Victorian example with name engraved and Xmas 1892, hallmarked Birmingham 1891, and two Edwardian cases, hallmarked Chester 1904 and Birmingham 1903, various maker's marks. • All displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches, and minor dints.
• All appear to close securely.
• Hallmarks are mostly clear and legible with some dirt and dried polish residues in the punches.
