The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuittons trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monograms traditional look is also endured by its durability.



The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather trim and handles have developed a medium patina with rubbing, scuffing, and creasing, particularly at the corners. The handles are lightly soiled and creased. The hardware is bright and shiny with surface scratches. The interior lining has signs of light use but is clean throughout. Overall this bag remains in very good condition.
