About Artist: ARTHUR WAAGEN, Born: 1833 - East Prussia (Lithuania), Died: 1898 - France. Arthur Waagen was a well-respected animal sculptor who worked in the mid-19th century. Very little is known about his life. His most famous work is the large hunt group titled Kabayle au Retour de la Chasse of a North African horseman with his dogs and prey.
