SERVICE COMMITMENT
This is one of the earliest Eterna Chronographs I have ever seen. The watch is in nearly new condition, still with its original finish. The dial is done in two tone silver for Eterna by Stern Freres, the company that purchased Patek Philippe out of bankruptcy in 1931. This watch dates from the early 1940s and you can see by the workmanship on the movement that it was a high grade watch in its day. Done as a Drs. pulsation it was intended to make taking a pulse an easy task. You simply count 30 beats of the heart and it will tell you based on the time elapsed what the heart rate is. This watch is in such fine condition that you could actually wear it all the time and count on it. And if you are a Dr. you could take it to the office as well.
