A superb Mid-Century, Modernist, Eames Era, "Madmen" style watch bracelet in 14 Karat Gold with 17 gorgeous diamonds totaling 1.5 Carat. The absolutely breathtaking watch has been masterfully crafted in solid 14 karat yellow gold. Its intricate woven design is a true example of a master jewelers handiwork. Unfortunately, this type of craftsmanship is hard to find any more in modern jewelry. The wristwatch dates to circa 1950 - 1970.
The ?peek-a-boo? design features a 17 jewel watch case hidden inside of a Mid-Century Modernist gold and diamond bracelet. The door to the watch is operated by a spring that keeps it shut when not in use. The spring is in perfect tight working condition. The bracelets strong sliding, tongue & groove, clasp and safety lock offers maximum security around the wrist.
DIAMONDS
The 17 diamonds are graduated in size from .07 to .15 Carat with the largest diamonds in the center. The diamonds are approximately VS clarity, and G-H in color. They are full cut diamonds of very fine clean quality. The total diamond weight is approximately 1.5 Carat.
The watch is in fine working order. It requires winding.
