Item Details
Description
The two children are dressed in kimonos and are perched dynamically on either side of the giant ball. Their blissful, dizzy expressions are turned sideways towards the passersby, as they sway while balancing on the ball and their kimonos flutter. The asymmetrical yamato-e style motif is present on the back and base of the netsuke, with a rich amber-honey patina. Dimensions: 4.5-3 cm.
