Fine Chinese Carved White Jade Seated Qilin well detailed to horned head, scaly legs and 3 part tail, all retaining the shape of the original rock. With carved and pierced dark hard wood stand with lingzhi and a separate bottom platform on 4 small feet; with silk lined hard wood storage box with bail handle. Width of jade 4 inches (10.2 cm.). Height of storage box 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.).

Light age related wear to jade with a few minor natural inclusions, the storage box missing the sliding panel cover and with a chip to wood side.
