Description
2 German Enameled Porcelains, probably Bavarian: the larger a Group of Male Hairdresser, Seated Lady and kneeling Male Servant, with an underglaze blue unidentified crown mark to outside back of base, the group with an oval side table with teapot, cup, vase of flowers and mirror, the oval base textured and colored to suggest carpeting, with gilt details, porcelain lace and enameled flower designs, the rococo edge with gilt highlights; together with a Basket shaped vase with applied bows, cupids playing pipes of pan and flowers, unidentified marked to unglazed bottom impressed "depose". Height of large figure group 10 inches (25.5 cm.) X width 11 3/4 inches (29.8 cm.).
Condition
Age related wear to each, the group with small damages to lady's left hand or fingers, to small flowers in vase on table and to some of the porcelain lace edges; the basket with small flakes or small chips to several flower petals or leaves.
