Late 18th century, with later-added reinforcements, the rectangular top with molded edge over three line-inlaid drawers above an apron centering a pendant inlaid with a six-pointed star, the ends paneled, raised on cabriole legs ending in pad feet, 33.25'' H x 71.75'' W x 20.25'' D, est: $1000/1500
Condition
Overall good condition. Structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches, gouges and wear commensurate with age and use. Evidence of old woodworm. Stable shrinkage cracks. Top with an infilled crack, an old 2'' x 2'' repair, and a replaced or later added 1''-wide strip of timber running the entire width along rear edge. The back panel a later replacement reinforced with steel brackets and wooden blocks. Later added timber reinforcements to interior including to drawer glides. Wide shrinkage cracks to drawer bottoms. Rear feet replaced. Hardware replaced; present hardware does show some age..
