Lee Gatch was an American Artist from Baltimore, Maryland. He became active in Provincetown, Massachusetts and Lambertville, New Jersey. He studied at the Maryland Institute of Fine Arts with John Sloan and Leon Kroll, the American School at Fontainebleau, and the Academie Moderne in Paris with Andre Lhote and Kisling. He had many exhibitions including those at the Los Angeles Museum of Art, the Venice Biennale, and he is also a National Institute of Arts and Letters grant. He was an abstract artist who developed a very personal symbolism. He married Elsie Driggs later on in his life. He also appears as Harry Lee Gatch.
