Alphonse Ninet, 24 Bd. du Temple, Paris. French photographer and manufacturer, working from 1852–1864. Sliding-box camera with 2 cassettes for collodion process. Plate sizes 21 x 27 cm to 6,5 x 9 cm (wooden masks inside), cassettes with collodion stains on the plate holder, walnut body, studio tripod with height adjustment (maximum 67 in). Lens: Darlot Opticien, 14 rue Chapon, Paris, version from 1864. – Literature: Corrado D'Agostini, "Photographic Lenses of the 1800's in France", p. 122 (2nd illustration). – Museum quality!
