KPM PORCELAIN ORANGE DECORATED SOUP TUREEN WITH UNDER TRAY. 13"x15"

This piece has overall light surface scratches from age appropriate wear. The bottom platter's bed has slightly more significant scratches with light pigment loss to the red painting. There is overall light - medium gilt loss on all pieces, but gilt loss is the most significant to the stems of the plant decoration. There is overall light grime, but more significant grime build up in the crevices. The platter has several .25" - .5" diameter splattered wax spots. One of the handles of the platter has a .5" diameter grazed surface chip. There are several pen tip side chips scattering the raised leaves and floral decorations. One of the buds on the body of the bowl has half chipped off and appears to have had light grinding to even out the surface. Under blacklight the grime in the crevices fluoresces. There also appears to be a spot on the inner tip of both handles, about a .5" diameter section, that has been patched and repainted. This possible restoration is on both handles in the same spots. To the naked eye is looks like slight splits from firing, but upon closer inspections appears to have been slightly ground, patched, and repainted.
