BELLEEK PORCELAIN FLOWER VASE. Bearing gilt decoration around the rim and base, a multitude of applied porcelain flowers, and two flower stem form handles, bears Belleek black mark on underside 13" x 7"

The inside bed sustains slight grime buildup. The gilt decoration along the outer lip has several .5" spots of smudging but no visible gilt loss. One mum on the side has two .25" areas of chipped petals and the leaf below it is halfway chipped off; one other bud is lacking a petal. There is a 1" - 1.5" section of applied foliate decoration missing as there are remnants of stems and leaves. A daisy on the other side is lacking several petals. The top of this side (about 1.5" down the branch) has three spots where the stem is missing and it no longer connects. Most inner surfaces of the flowers sustain minor grime buildup. The bottom part of the base bears a .25" nick to the glaze and the beading bears several pin-tip to pen-tip sized spots of dark discoloration, perhaps mineral deposits. The gilt shows light wear along the bottom rim and smudges of grime. Bears Belleek first black mark.
