Gruppo Strum "Pratone" chair, by Gufram, Italy, 1986, number 33/200, designed by Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso in 1971, molded foam form of blades of grass that simulates a lawn, 53.5"w x 57"d x 38"h, signed in large cut letters to front "PRATONE", round white Gufram stamp to lower edge reads "Gufram Multipli '86 Pratone 33/200", staProvenance: Indianapolis Children's Museummped "Gufram" in four places on the bottom, includes a custom-built rolling platform, original finish, very good condition
Condition
A few hairline surface cracks to the green surface around the top edge of the base, including at the front lower left corner. No repairs or restoration. Some dust and dirt. Sturdy and structurally sound. Chip to the lower edge of the wood platform as shown in the photo. Light wear consistent with age and use over time.
