Description
We are very pleased to present this fine pair of 1920s-1930s English Fleur de Lis & Arches pattern glass Marmalade dishes, one with its original holder + a spoon. Though not apparently marked with the classic EPNS, the ball foot design and handle are classic English. Our third item is the highly recognizable Madrid pattern covered butter dish w/ handle by the Federal Glass Co. from 1932-1939. However, if one consults Pages #122 & 123, AND the Reproduction section (Page #248) of Collectors Encyclopedia of Depression Glass 19th Ed. / by Cathy & Gene Florence, it becomes obvious that this lovely crystal butter was produced by Indiana Glass in the 1980s. *** By the way, NO CLEAR CRYSTAL WAS EVER PRODUCED BY FEDERAL IN THE MADRID PATTERN! The marmalade w/ holder measures 7 x 7 x 7 inches tall, ant the lot weighs 2# 12 oz. All are in excellent condition.
