Item Details

Description

We are pleased to present this very nice 1950s vintage antiqued domed wood Victorian style letter box, finished in a lovely floral top scene, that has been covered in a fine lacquer. The brass joiner-work appears original, which helps us date this nice box, as Henry Phillips did ont invent the Phillips Head Screw until ca. 1932-1934, and commercial sales didn't bloom until about 1935. The box weighs :4# 8 oz. and measures 14.75 x 8.75 x 9.75 inches high.
