Retains original finish with new diamond tufting upholstery. Closest match to this model we can find is a slipper chair pictured on page 107 in "American Furniture of the 19th Century" by Eileen and Richard Dubrow. It has up to eleven layers of lamination and is in exceptional condition. Although the photo's show the overall quality of the piece it does not give you the real feel of the piece that seeing it in person does. Absolutely the best Rococo Revival piece we have had the pleasure of offering for auction. Measures 86"l x 53"h.
