Description
A Russian gilt silver and enamel kovsh with matching spoon. c.1896-1908. Moscow maker Maria Semenova. Decorated with enameled floral motifs and blue circles along handle of kovsh. Marked with maker mark MC and 84 kokoshnik for assayer I.S. Lebdkin. Spoon with faint markings.Kovsh: 3 1/4"h x 4"w x 6 3/4"l . Spoon: 5"l. Total weight: 9.395 toz.
Condition
In very beautiful condition. Enamel intact throughout both pieces. Small nick on rim of foot on bottom of kovsh. Small notch on underside handle of spoon.
