A rare type, of robust dimensions with characteristic waisted walrus grip, the straight and continuously tapering double-edged blade wrought of actively-patterned black wootz with raised central ridge and armor-piercing tip, and panels of goldwork at each side of the forte. The wooden scabbard covered in embroidered fabric, with large embossed and engraved silver mounts. Second half of the 18th century.Grip with stable crack.Overall length 45.7 cm.
