Harris George Albert (American 1913-1991) "Coming Home", oil on canvas 16" x 20" framed: 22" x 25.5" Artist biography: George Albert Harris(1913-1991) was a native of San Francisco, California. He received his college education from the California School of Fine arts and the College of Marin, and received his PhD in Stanford University. He was a prolific painter, graphic artist, museum curator, designer, teacher, sculptor, and lithographer. He exhibited his works in prestigious locations such as the Carnegie Institute, and in Colorado Springs, both in 1945. He was part of a group of 20 artists who produced lithographs for the "Chronicle Contemporary Graphics" project of 1940.
