this 4 room bungalow is among the largest of the one story houses Schoenhut made, it is constructed of wood and pressed fibreboard emulating stone; the very colorful lithographed paper interiors show the various rooms in great detail, the glazed windows with laces curtains underline the originality of this circa 1917 house while the finely turned wood porch columns display the quality of construction, the interior stair case ascends to the finished attic which is hinged so it can be propped open for play access; This example is pictured and described on page 139 of Antique Dolls' Houses, Flora Gill Jacobs © 2005. It retains an original celluloid Schoenhut label.
